LaKoèn was born from a love of slow craft, meaningful design, and the quiet confidence clothing can give a woman.
Founded by Shannon Pittman, the designer behind beloved Australian bridal label Bo & Luca, LaKoèn carries forward more than a decade of artistry, hand embroidery, and timeless bohemian beauty into ready-to-wear pieces created for everyday life.
After years of dressing women for some of their most meaningful moments, Shannon wanted to create garments that brought that same feeling into the everyday — pieces that feel considered, feminine, enduring, and deeply personal.
LaKoèn is for women who believe clothing should hold meaning. Women who value quality over quantity, artistry over speed, and pieces that are made to be treasured rather than replaced.
Each collection is created slowly and intentionally, released only when it is ready. Working with skilled artisans and ethical makers, LaKoèn honours traditional techniques, natural textures, delicate embroidery, and timeless silhouettes designed to move with you through the seasons.

A Personal Note from our founder
I’ve always believed clothing should be more than something we wear — it should be something that makes us feel deeply connected to ourselves.
Over the years, while dressing women for some of the most meaningful moments of their lives, I began to understand the quiet power a garment can hold. The right piece can make a woman feel confident, grounded, feminine, and entirely herself.
That feeling became the foundation of Lakoén.
Created slowly and intentionally, Lakoén exists outside the rhythm of fast fashion — designed instead for women who value timeless pieces, thoughtful craftsmanship, and beauty in the everyday. These are garments to live in, love deeply, and return to season after season.
More than anything, Lakoén is about community — women connected through a shared appreciation for slow living, artistry, and clothing that makes them feel something.

Just a quick note to say a huge thank you for your creative talent. I ordered the Laurent shirt dress and I can’t stop looking at it!! Literally the fabric, the pattern and the embroidery is so perfect for my sensibilities. The colours are superb - so so pretty and the quality is superior. (I haven’t had a chance to wear it yet.. as it needs to get slightly cooler in Sydney). I love seeing you talk about your pieces on Insta and the close-up you gave of the fabric and embroidery for this dress was what sold it to me. To see the pattern up close - made all the difference. (oh and the sizing was PERFECT - XL was just right for a pear shaped - the top half fits so well and the bottom half is generous enough for my hips and thighs). I wish you every success with this label and I’ll be eagerly watching to see which next piece grabs me.

I received the dress today and it's a perfect fit. It's even more stunning in person with all the gorgeous details that photos simply cannot do justice to. I don't remember the description mentioning it was lined, so I was thrilled about that - and just WOW that it is sewn in to the whole dress. So beautifully made and just exceptional quality.
