Local Orders (Australia):
All our Australian orders are shipped via Australia Post. All Australian orders are tax-inclusive and will not incur any additional charges.
- We charge a flat rate of $10AUD for all Australian orders.
- Orders valued over $300AUD qualify for free shipping
International Orders (US):
Our international orders are shipped via Australia Post or DHL. Please note, all international orders shipped to the us are Delivered Duty Paid. This means that taxes and duties will be charged at checkout (once you have filled in your address).
- We charge a flat rate of $75AUD for all international orders. (this includes the $35AUD handling fee that AU post leverages on imports to the US)
International Orders(Excluding US):
Our international orders are shipped via Australia Post or DHL. Please note all international orders are tax-exclusive. This means that taxes and duties will be levied on import according to the rules and regulations of your local government. These fees vary from country to country, and LaKoèn does not bear any responsibility for these charges.
- We charge a flat rate of $40AUD for all international orders.
Stolen or damaged parcels
Once your order leaves our warehouse and is handed over to the designated courier, the responsibility for its safe and timely delivery shifts to the courier company. Lakoèn does not guarantee delivery dates or time frames. Lakoèn is not liable for any issues that may arise during the shipping process, including but not limited to mis delivery, lost packages, or delays. We encourage you directly contact the courier company responsible for delivering your order, if you encounter any delivery-related concerns.
Local Orders (Australia):
All local orders are delivered via Australia Post, and ordinarily take 2-4 working days from dispatch to delivery.
International Orders:
All International orders are delivered via Australia Post, and ordinarily take 10-18 working days from dispatch to delivery.
International orders delivered via DHL (Express Shipping), ordinarily take 4-8 working days from dispatch to delivery.
Please note that delivery times may be affected by customs clearances, strikes and delivery backlogs. LaKoèn is not responsible for any unforeseen delays caused by customs, delivery strikes, or backlogs.
We partner with AU Post both internationally and locally to ensure reliable delivery of our hand-crafted pieces. Their service include track and trace for all parcels and door-to-door delivery
Once your parcel is dispatched, you will receive an automated email containing a waybill number with a tracking link to monitor your order's progress.
Please note that estimated delivery dates are generated shortly after shipment creation, but may be subject to change and may not always reflect the actual delivery date.

AUSTRALIAN ORDERS - SHIPPING
Dispatch and Delivery
Orders are processed and dispatched within the timeframes stated on our website at the time of purchase. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details.
Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may vary due to courier delays, weather events, or peak periods outside of our control.
Authority to Leave (ATL)
If you choose Authority to Leave at checkout, you acknowledge and accept that:
- Delivery may occur without a signature
- The parcel may be left in a location deemed suitable by the courier
- Responsibility for the parcel transfers to you once it has been delivered to the nominated address or safe place
LAKOÈN is not liable for parcels that are lost or stolen after being delivered under an Authority to Leave request.
If you are concerned about parcel security, we strongly recommend selecting signature required delivery where available.
Signature Required Delivery
For added security, we offer signature-required delivery on selected orders. Once a parcel has been signed for at the nominated address, responsibility for the order transfers to the recipient.
Lost or Delayed Parcels
If your parcel appears lost or delayed beyond a reasonable timeframe, please contact us at [your customer service email].
We will lodge an investigation with the courier and keep you informed throughout the process.
While investigations are underway, we appreciate your patience as couriers may take several business days to complete their enquiries.
Incorrect Address Details
Please ensure all delivery details are correct at the time of checkout.
LAKOÈN cannot be held responsible for parcels delayed, lost, or delivered incorrectly due to incorrect address information provided by the customer.
INTERNATIONAL ORDER - SHIPPING
We are pleased to offer international shipping to selected destinations.
Please note the following conditions apply to all international orders:
Delivery & Risk
- Once an international order has been dispatched and accepted by the courier, delivery timeframes are estimates only.
- Responsibility for the parcel transfers to the customer once the order has been successfully delivered to the nominated address, as confirmed by the courier’s tracking system.
LAKOÈN is not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance, border controls, or international courier processes.
Duties, Taxes & Customs Charges
- International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or local charges imposed by the destination country.
- These charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the purchase price or shipping fee.
- LAKOÈN is unable to advise on or control these charges.
Lost, Delayed or Returned International Parcels
If an international parcel:
- Is significantly delayed
- Appears lost in transit
Please contact us so we can lodge an enquiry with the courier.
If a parcel is returned to us due to:
- Unpaid duties or taxes
- Refusal of delivery
- Incorrect or incomplete address details
Any reshipping costs will be the responsibility of the customer.
