OUR design ETHOS

The Lakoèn woman is at the centre of everything we create. She values quality, individuality, and pieces that feel as good as they look. Our designs are made with her in mind - thoughtful, versatile, timeless, and enduring. From everyday essentials to handcrafted details, each piece is created to move with her through all parts of life - with ease, confidence, and quiet strength.

Because the Lakoèn woman doesn’t follow trends - she follows what feels true. She values craftsmanship, individuality, and the grounding confidence that comes from wearing something made with care.

OUR Materials

Using natural fibres, artisanal finishes, and slow, considered processes, we create clothing with purpose. From soft, breathable cottons and sheer, floaty viscose to hand embroidery, delicate smocking, and romantic hand-beaded tassels, every fabric and finish is chosen for how it feels, lasts, and lives with the body. Each piece is made to move with her - to be worn often, loved deeply, and treasured over time.

Each gemstone featured in our jewellery is hand-selected, ensuring each one holds intention and beauty. All of our jewellery is hand-set in either recycled brass or gold vermeil.

Lakoèn was born from a deep respect for craftsmanship and the stories woven into handmade pieces. Rooted in artisanal heritage, our collections are brought to life by skilled makers around the world, from fine hand embroidery to heirloom techniques passed down through generations. We collaborate with female-led teams and small workshops, supporting the hands and hearts behind each creation.

We honour slow processes, natural materials, and the beauty found in imperfection - creating pieces with soul, intention, and a lasting connection to the hands that made it.
