Lakoèn is a slow-fashion label offering handcrafted ready-to-wear clothing and fine jewellery. Our pieces are made in natural fibres with artisanal finishes — hand embroidery, delicate smocking, and hand-beaded detailing — and our jewellery is hand-set with carefully selected gemstones in recycled brass or gold vermeil. Each collection is created with longevity in mind: timeless, versatile pieces designed to be worn often and treasured over time. LaKoèn is the sister label to Bo & Luca.
Our clothing is made using natural fibres such as soft cottons and floaty viscose, finished by hand with techniques including embroidery, smocking, and hand-beaded tassels. Our jewellery is hand-set in recycled brass or gold vermeil, with each gemstone hand-selected. We work with skilled artisans and small, often female-led workshops around the world, honouring slow processes, ethically sourced materials, and traditional craftsmanship.
You can find detailed measurements on our Size Guide (lakoen.com/pages/size-guide) to help you select the best fit. Because our pieces are handcrafted in natural fibres, we recommend checking the measurements for each item. If you're between sizes or unsure, email us at hello@lakoen.com and we'll be glad to help.

We accept change-of-mind returns within 14 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in original condition, with all tags attached. To start a return, email hello@lakoen.com with your reason, and we'll provide the return address. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility, and original delivery costs (and any customs/duties) are deducted from the refund unless the item has a manufacturing fault. Refunds are processed within 7 business days of us receiving the item.
No — all sale items are Final Sale and cannot be returned unless they arrive damaged. Items that qualify as final sale are marked on their product page and at checkout. All other returns must be unworn, unwashed, and returned in original condition with tags intact.
If your item arrives with a manufacturing fault, contact us immediately at hello@lakoen.com with a description and clear photos. For confirmed manufacturing faults, we arrange and cover return shipping and reimburse the full purchase cost. We recommend checking your pieces on arrival and notifying us as soon as possible.
Lakoèn jewellery is handcrafted using recycled brass or gold vermeil settings — gold vermeil being a thick layer of gold over sterling silver, distinct from standard gold plating in its durability and finish. Every gemstone is hand-selected individually, ensuring each piece holds a quality and character that mass-produced jewellery cannot replicate. Stones used across the range include emerald, onyx, garnet, and cubic zirconia, set using traditional artisanal techniques by skilled makers in small workshops. LaKoèn works with female-led teams and artisan partners, supporting traditional craftsmanship and fair labour practices rather than factory-scale production. Pieces are not interchangeable or replicated in bulk — the hand-selection process means each gemstone varies slightly, giving every piece its own character.
Lakoèn deliberately operates outside the traditional fashion calendar. Rather than releasing collections on a fixed seasonal schedule — autumn/winter, spring/summer — new pieces are introduced when they are ready: when the craftsmanship meets the standard the brand requires and the piece is truly finished. This approach is a direct extension of founder Shannon Pittman's philosophy at Bo & Luca, where bridal collections were created without trend pressure or arbitrary deadlines. In practice, it means Lakoèn customers may receive new pieces at any time of year, released as small, considered drops rather than large seasonal collections. The brand describes this as a commitment to "slow processes and natural materials" — pieces are made to be worn across multiple seasons rather than replaced each cycle. Customers who want early access to new releases can join the Lakoèn community via the newsletter, which also provides a 10% discount on the first order.
